Statistics show that 95% of all illnesses are linked to stress. Time Magazine's June 2002
cover story discussed how anxiety and stress have come to the forefront as the number one problem facing the human
condition today. The medical community agrees that stress is often the root
cause of many illnesses. The Sidman Solution® relieves stress and anxiety, and
in many cases people actually heal themselves of major emotional and health problems.

How does one break the cycle of negative behavioral patterns?
Most people attempt to change when the “status quo” becomes uncomfortable enough to want to change. Many
vain attempts to change are a result of taking personal development classes, reading self help books, going
to psychotherapy, running to weight loss clinics; saying affirmations, and medicating the problem, etc. These
attempts are helpful, but mainly bring only temporary relief of the symptom. We have found that by
restructuring the root cause of the problem in the subconscious mind, where it began, these patterns are
eliminated.

How do we overcome negative actions?
Clients of are individually guided during the confidential sessions. They begin to develop new skills
automatically as they recover their own power. This is an experiential process, as no amount of directions
can match this discovery process.

How does one overcome fears or phobias?
The fear or phobia may be based on a particular object or experience one is afraid of, or it may be
covering up a deeper emotion. There are often emotional triggers to fears and phobias. Through a discovery
process of listening to the history of where and when it surfaced and the circumstances surrounding the
triggers, and by restructuring the related emotional memories, the phobia disappears.

How does this work help someone in his or her relationships?
People in relationships often have their “buttons” pushed. These “buttons” are “reactive patterns” that
start in childhood, yet they have since grown up. When other people “push their buttons” they are still
reacting the same way they did then. They are accused of being “defensive” and, in fact, they are. This is
how defense mechanisms operate. They try to protect you from experiencing that earlier pain, only the pain no
longer exists. By ridding ourselves of these over-reactions, we become free. We are actually aligning
ourselves with our natural unfettered self. Our highest nature can then flourish. We can respond in a much
calmer fashion and all of our relationships improve. Tremendous clarity and inner security is found as a
result of this realization and, when one is integrated in this way, there is real healing and peace.

How can your method help someone professionally?
People worry about their performance, or they have fear of public speaking or sales; cold-calling,
follow-ups or closings. They may be disorganized, have personnel conflicts and/or can’t concentrate. They
may procrastinate. All of the anxious behaviors we address personally can become a problem at work resulting
in stress or worker’s compensation claims. Absenteeism, poor health and employees quitting their job, cost the
employer considerable money to rectify. The CEO may be overwhelmed or have the inability to delegate or trust
subordinates, have anger and depression problems. We help companies by serving these problems on an
individual basis in a confidential setting to achieve beneficial results.

Is The Sidman Solution® safe?
It is very safe. No one will ever do anything against their will. It is implemented in a relaxed state,
but is not sleep. Individuals are very focused and alert. In fact, it is a heightened state of awareness
where they remember everything. You are always in control.

What?
What happens in the sessions?
The first hour is investigation into the individual's personal and professional history and evaluation of
his or her needs and desires to change. The second hour is an interactive procedure skillfully implementing
the reconstruction of the reactive patterns which have been limiting them.

What do you mean when you say: "emotions can become illness"?
Not every emotion becomes illness, but the burden of toxic emotions can become internalized. These
emotions may translate to tension, which is stored in the cells causing extreme stress on internal organs.
This stress can be converted to illness, both physical and emotional. Individuals are always struggling to
achieve internal harmony but, after repeated failure, "give up" to illness, finally surrendering to defeat.
This tension and stress can be released, allowing bodies and minds to revert back to a naturally healthy and
peaceful state.

What type of problems do you address most often?
The most frequent problems are the symptoms people suffer with most, e.g. weight, insomnia, anxiety,
smoking, stress, relationship problems, compulsive behaviors, anger, phobias and insecurities. Often they
wish to improve their performance, i.e. sports, sales, sexual enhancement and the like.

Where?
Where do our self-imposed limitations come from?
We receive emotions and beliefs from the environment, our parents, our teachers, our siblings, and our
friends -- almost by osmosis while we are growing up. We are like a little monkeys mimicking what we see,
hear and observe. We carry emotions for those we love and think we are helping them by suffering what they
suffer.

Why?
Why is The Sidman Solution® different from other forms of therapy?
The Sidman Solution®, utilizes a slightly altered state of consciousness, taking the client into
the subconscious mind. This bypasses resistance from the conscious mind. The process is simple, effective and
long- lasting. The client is the engine of change, with the therapist’s assistance, rather than therapist
having an agenda. This is very empowering, as the individual is change themselves, clearing the
subconscious mind of unwanted ideas, negative emotions, and updating the mind’s earlier perceptions.

Why is it so difficult to lose weight, leave abusive relationships or pursue the
career we really want?
Our subconscious mind works as the operating system for our lives. Whatever we originally accepted as
truth becomes our beliefs, and these beliefs determine the outcome of our behaviors, even when we desperately
want to change. Making change, meaningful change, begins with re-educating the subconscious mind.
